Got a new job, again..
should I happy or should I not?
Well, what's my purpose or why am I here at Dundee? Easy and clear, to pursue architecture. However, can this work help me to gain some positive skills in the future? If no, why should I work like a cow? Just for the sake of living? Or to support my entertainment expenses?
I'm now working on Saturdays and Sundays at
Metthew's Food, a chinese supermarket. Since fired by Canton House, I quitted my horrible 4 days-in-a-week-work routine, and started free up my time for study. However, as I have more free time, the more relax my life is. Relax here means doing meaningless time wasting deeds, like watching old times movie or day dreaming. I loved to work at Canton House, love the boss, love the food, however, I can't really perform well there. Always did stupid mistakes. The most classic act: Customer ordered beef curry, I knew it was beef curry in my head, my hand simultaneously wrote '加介'(Chicken curry in Cantonese), and my mouth shouted in Cantonese 'beef curry'. When staffs back in the kitchen herd my shout and cooked it immediately. Then, they checked on the order list, it was written 'chicken curry' and the whole crew got confused. I myself can't remember what was the order even if the order was 5 minutes ago. This short memories and my ear-hand-mouth dis-coordinate syndrome always make them haywire. The business went down hill that time, and all the frustration hit hard on my shoulder. They have no choice but to fire me. I felt really bad if I'd ruined their business, and wanted to quite long time ago. Finally the day came and I just got fired! after a clear mistake made.
Now ended up in another chinese take away. 功夫楼。 They serve very authentic szechuan dishes, and loved it since my first try half year ago. The business wasn't that good, the turnover is still 0 at the moment. Partly because of the bad location, not strategic at all, no parking place, next to a busy traffic junction. I need money! I omit that I quite like the work environment there, very relax, no stress at all, unlike Canton House. Though the pay is not high, just £4.5/Hour. (£5.95 at Metthew's Food).
Just go for it, work hard, study hard!!!! STUDY HARD! just need to be more more more discipline.
